Release Notes

New in Fred Dispense Plus

Fred Dispense Plus automatically applies both software and drug updates. No user intervention is required, but please ensure that your server PC is always switched on as automatic updates are applied outside of business hours.

MIMS Drug Interactions

MIMS provides world class point-of-care drug interactions. Interactions have been upgraded to use data provided by MIMS.

During dispensing, if a drug interaction is detected, the MIMS Drug Interactions screen is displayed.

The left panel displays a colour-coded list of drug interactions in descending order of severity as described in the table below.

Colour Severity
Red Severe
Pink Moderate
Blue Minor

The right panel displays more details about the selected drug interaction. For example, in the image below, the second interaction in the list is selected.

My Health Record – Immunisation Consolidated View

The Immunisation Consolidated View provided by My Health Record can help pharmacist vaccinators to access important immunisation information like Covid-19 vaccination status.

To view the vaccination status of a patient:

  1. Click MyHR in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  2. Click Clinical Document Search and then select the Immunisation Consolidated View.

Fixes

eRx script - Quantity not a number

When the quantity from an eRx script is not a number, the quantity in Dispense will now default to zero and the script cannot be completed until the correct quantity is entered.

Scripts - Streamlined code when editing

The streamlined code is now retained after editing a script.

Wait Screen

Improvements have been made to the performance of the Wait screen after dispensing a script.

Reports - List of Patients Report

The date filter now works as expected on the List of Patients report.

Patient Maintenance - Middle Name

The Middle Name in patient demographics now saves correctly as expected.

Pack Labels

Fixed an issue where longer text on the duplicate label was truncated.
